Just over 3000 folks call Sherman County home, with just over 2000 residing within the city limits of Stratford. Stratford is a very strong farming and ranching community with family ties going back many generations. Stratford also boasts a beautiful downtown area with several businesses. Stratford is the county seat for Sherman County. Stratford ISD provides students with a great education opportunity with 3 campuses.......Mary Allen Elementary, Stratford Junior High, and Stratford High School. We offer numerous churches within the city that are ready to welcome you to their congregation, either as a visitor or as a full time attendant. New business are welcome and strongly encouraged.
